the test for whether a sports comic will be good is if every character is introduced in a scene of baffled spectators watching them eat raw corn or something and then a shaken looking guy watching from a distance says "it can't be... the "raw corn technique"?! i've only heard about it, but... they say as one of the most indigestible foods, to eat raw corn is equivalent strength training to being hit by nine thousand hammers every day... this guy... has the power of a demon, or a god..."
