like aiui poultry farming is still way lower environmental impact than something like pork or beef which are so bad that they keep trying to genetically engineer pigs that aren't such an environment disaster
so like your angle here is that if you can substitute egg for something like beef, you are doing substantially better from an environmental impact standpoint?
but then they go and mess it all up by so transparently trying to be something they're not
maybe it's just too hard to get people to care about the former, to be a commercial success...
you could just, you know... cook the mushrooms... mushrooms have a sort of meatiness to them already, why not just... eat them
