Often, individuals will comment upon my posts, and while I appreciate their response, there is nothing substantive that I could answer in reply

Prior to The Events, twitter users handled these situations by Liking the post, but the immense psychic toll of these so-called 'courtesy likes' led many users to Die

In an effort to preserve its posters' Mental Fortitude, cohost dot org does not permit courtesy likes. However, this reintroduces the original stressor: 'What If I Made Them Sad Because I Did Not Reply To Their Reply"

Thankfully, technology has solved this problem

Introducing the Unicode U+2406 "Symbol For Acknowledge" character:

โ†

Simply respond to each comment with the โ† character to confirm receipt of their message while conveying no further semantic information whatsoever!
