daily knowledge: 10 years ago from this day, brian griffin died. he was brought back a grand total of 2 weeks later. however, there was a wild amount of fan speculation during that two week period, with some folks thinking that this was seth macfarlane's attempt to kill off family guy as a whole by killing off a character they believed to be at the heart and soul of the show. after all, seth said this only 2 years earlier:
