yea! and half of them were happy accidents, I messed up the code and I was like "actually I like that, I'm gonna add that as a mode" and now they have like a billion possible patterns lmao
y'know, this is one of those times where accidents becomes features and to me that's really cool to see happen haha! makes me wonder if some shmup patterns are just made out of accidents and they also went "that is cool, let's keep that" XD
I mean, considering lance gaining speed when spinning was a bug and now shield cat is entirely based around that, I've learned to just let the game talk to me sometimes
Very true! And games that you just let talk are often the ones that end up feeling great! So yeah, I do wonder when I start making my own games I will hit that too.
