Don't worry about Gwitch, the Tempest was a comedy. I don't think it's going to have a tragic ending. We're just about in act 4 right now.
It's the aesthetics and social dynamics of Revolutionary Girl Utena with the plot beats of The Tempest and the characters and tropes that made up all the best of the previous Gundam series. I love it so much. And I'd bet heavily on the ending being a wedding.
Maybe even a bi poly wedding. Guel did a major heel face turn after all...

A little sad it's all girl stuff (I can imagine why), but at least there is a surge in Queer Anime Shenanigans overall, which is nice! Plus, they're certainly getting more bold in being clear that Something Gay Was Happening.
