Probably worth investing in a fine mesh strainer from the home and kitchen department. They're cheap and will get the sand out really well. Also you get to listen to your slimegirl giggle from how ticklish it is early on and, uh, moan from the intensity of you having to squoosh the last of her through by hand later ^///^;
