I’m hoping it makes for a document which gives a picture of these characters without overloading or over describing how they relate to the party. For all I know new players might say, “I want this npc to be in my lifepath” or “I want to know them,” or in the least they can think about how that character is an asset or what kind of world is being built.
At best, Manny can speculate, but there’s a cutoff between his death and current. For example, he wonders if Stinger and Lynx will get along in the near future; Ji-woo is written off as a neurotic weirdo but he muses whoever picks him up in his fallen state will have a powerful pupil; that sort of thing
