I tried after some workshopping to name Stinger’s go-gang the Ningyouzoku Ladies Team, but there’s some parts im not sure about since I’m not all that fluent. ‘Zoku’ means tribe, so that felt right, but it tends to more be a label of a general subculture. I can write it off as a statement of intent, like a proposed counterculture or way of life, but still.

Ladies Team came from the Pacific Rim Sourcebook as the name the author used for female bosozoku gangs. I cannot find this term anywhere and the Pacific Rim Sourcebook is pretty bad on a lot of vectors besides approaching Japan and Korea about as well as something from the time will (“Japan has never had a revolution from below” - what are you smoking?). So I have no idea. It works within Cyberpunk’s Cool Japan shtick but with Stinger I’m always trying to start from Cool Japan nonsense and learn a little more.
