I love the action in it. It’s so chaotic from beat to beat but there’s a strong attention to detail
It’s impeccable when the gangs are feuding on their bikes, seeing someone use a steel pipe to knock a Clown off their handlebars, heck, seeing the creative but still grounded designs on the Clowns, even.
My copy had me reading left to right and I’m not sure if that’s the intention or not. Something just felt a little off about that
Hm. It was mirrored for the English release, though apparently Otomo was very thorough about it. God help me if that carried over into the Dark Horse printing I’ve been reading. Something still feels weird, like my eyes don’t have the right through line across the page even when the groundwork is laid for them to do so
This doesn’t stop it from being an incredibly fun read and it could be worse by the sounds of things, but it is jarring
