I’m at that phase of the playthrough where my V is a wrecking ball, except instead of shotgun it’s memory wipe, short circ, short circ, memory wipe…

she/her, 29, low resolution brain goblin, prolonged Cinema-Media-Arts and Polisci undergrad, ongoing Gender Situation. Asuka for short, Asukapaper for long, and Jill for real
Discord ID: asukapaper (they took away the funny numbers, curses)

The quickhack queue is a super fun system but overclock and its ability to trade regenerating health for more ram is a mistake. I’m still of the mind they traded one encounter ending short circuit with three more operations that when done in sequence still delete any gangoon’s health bar (the bigger ones just need more short circs… gotten through overclock)
I’m using a goddamn stealth deck! It’s not optimized for quickhack damage! This is a difficulty setting above normal!
I genuinely miss the earlier part of my playthrough where I felt like a very fragile wizard with her net actions layered above the gunplay. now my smartgun is for if I’m in a sporting mood
even then, idk, this game always feels like it’s being played wrong somehow. I’m here for number go up, of which the new cyberware system has in spades; really really tiny increments of number go up, too, which sounds bad but actually reminds me a lot of the ttrpg where you’re pushing your pc’s brain to its outermost limits for what are ostensibly slight edges in performance over time. If there’s one system that ought feel super goblinized, sure, let it be chroming yourself up
