And I don’t mean popcorn in a bad way. It shaves every possible excess down to a nub, leaving only clockworked worldbuilding, equally clockworked fight choreography, and gamic logics it’s excited to infodump with a passion only matched by when a close friend of mine into the fgc first played Dark Souls back on launch
