last year, my friend Ari took the government to court when they tried to make an anti-trans policy for schools, and Ari won. The government responded with the notwithstanding clause, bypassing the judge's decision who said it could cause "irreparable harm to transgender youth."

Ari needs help. they're living history, a disabled queer activist who took the government to court and won, even if the government just went and fuckin did it anyway with a stupid constitutional loophole. Ari is Saskatchewan's modern-day Martha P. Johnson, and i refuse to let their valiant efforts be unrecognized.

please help if you're able to. i gave what i could.

apparently a particular cis dude's been giving her the fucking run around and refused to pay her what she's legally, contractually due for her immense work last year, and the people who were supposed to keep him in check all resigned because apparently the cis people around Ari only gave a shit about the court case because it'd look good on their resumes.

help her out if you can. this shit sucks. she doesn't deserve this.
