Starship looked like it was out of control its entire suborbital flight. Constantly rolling. Even when it was coming in on reentry, it was still rolling in a way that did not look conducive to a safe reentry.

To be clear, Starship was not meant to survive this, nor the Super-Heavy.

However, SH hit the water hard when it was supposed to be a soft splashdown, and Starship did not perform an on-suborbit burn intended to slow it down for a more gentle reentry, likely because it was out of control. Starship was still gonna sploosh in the Indian Ocean and sink. No recovery was ever planned.

yeh he will always claim credit for shit he didn't do, i don't care what he or anyone else says, he's not an engineer.

i try to focus on this being a win for NASA, because unfortunately without Starship, the Artemis program to return humans to the Moon is dead in the water.
