The dams on Table Mountain are usually called 'the reservoirs'. The tons of stone needed for their construction were moved there via cableway, for the steep part, then railway, for the flat part. They left the locomotive there, on the mountain, in a little museum. If you ever find yourself on Table Mountain, near the reservoirs, go say hi.
