A study of three of the main buildings I spent almost every day in for the last 9 years.

  • The Roger Stevens Lecture Threatre, that one brutalist university building that fascist chuds never stop complaining about. Horrible to navigate inside, but as it keeps making them mad, it gets a pass.
  • The EC Stoner Building, directly attached, home to the second longest corridor in Europe and least comfy chairs in Leeds.
  • The Bragg building, a giant glass mess, a far cry from the 60s concrete & asbestos wonderland that is EC Stoner, I like it, but that's because the WiFi was fast and the chairs were comfy and new.

My undergrad and PhD involved a lot of late nights, to the point where the security guards recognised me. Now I'm basically at the end of my time here, and hopefully my work-life balance gets a little more healthy from here on out. Walking around, taking photos, made me feel a pretty profound sense of finality. It's almost over.

Also, Reflx 800T is fun, it's budget Cinestill, what more can I say.

oh man that campus

I spent four years at Leeds and it's like playing Antichamber all day every day. Whole goddamn slanty campus where "ground floor" was anything from level 1 to level 11 depending how far north you were or whether they'd built a massive hole for some reason. I am certain the union building does not strictly exist in euclidean space. How anyone is supposed to study physics there is beyond me.
