I'm not gonna get in the habit of talking about talent identities, and I'm definitely not spoiling here, but I realized why Nerissa's voice was so familiar to me this afternoon and I'm extremely excited for the future. This girl with Hololive's backing + connections and the sky's literally the limit. She's gonna go very far, I think.
Once the collab ban is over, I hope that she and Gura are RUNNING -- not walking -- into some kind of studio for a collab song together. Considering the musical direction that Gura seems most inclined to take, these two are going to be such a good match for duets. It will be mind-blowing, trust me.
First Cover
This is such a strong start for what will very likely be an extremely music-focused talent. She already has the background and the know-how for getting these done. I'm sure she's probably very ambitious as well and surrounded by other like-minded talents like Calli, Bae, and IRyS. I hope that she has an opportunity to really push her music and gets hooked up with a few good producers, cause she definitely has the talent.
Schedule
Sunday's karaoke stream is gonna be a big tell for me on how well she'll do starting out and probably the thing I'm most excited about this upcoming week. I'm a bit of a live vocals snob, so if she can sing well live she will likely easily clear a spot in my Top 101 basically immediately.
I had to rant a bit about her when I realized who she was and now I understand why the lyrics for her cover were so good. And why the cover itself was so good. And why she was so familiar. I'm just blown away that Hololive manages to keep securing these incredible talents. Nerissa is gonna be huge, I'd almost guarantee it.

More on this in another post, but for context my #1 is Suisei and someone like Towa would be in the bottom half of the Top 10.
She flexed a bit during her One Hand Clapping stream. This was a great preview of what we can likely expect on Sunday.
