Semi-serious question: how do you make friends?
Everytime I try to answer this on my own I twist the question into "how do I be more interesting?" Then it just goes downhill from there.

going from "two people aware of each other" to "two people who are friends" requires someone to reach out more than once and keep feeding the connection, eventually it feels natural, but that in between point is very awkward
