An important turning point in my life was definitely learning about CPTSD and that a bunch of little traumas are every bit as valid as one big one.
Though having to look back through my life and reevaluate what things I can even remember is exhausting beyond belief. It doesn't seem like it should be possible for mental strain to have such a physical effect on the body.
