EDIT: I took the ko-fi link down because y'all managed to surpass my normal gas/grocery budget by more than $200. There are others on here too in need of help and I'd so much rather have any more help going their way.
I dunno.... I accept donations for uhhhhh being a floofy dog. I swear this better not happen again. I'm so tried of getting all my ducks in a row only for them to all wander off immediately.
with so many of cohosts posters starting blogs I think it's genuinely really difficult to post on a blog, there's an inherent difficultly getting engagement and i think it's important to understand that engagement drives motivation. writing a blog is a mindfulness activity that takes a lot of effort
if you're starting a blog consider how you're going to get around this! how do you get your motivation to post on your blog, be really honest with what you're looking to get out of it and figure out how to get that
I so miss working for a small business. So many completely unnecessary hoops to jump through just so all the numbers look better on a PowerPoint.
Before: buy 1000 lb of solder twice a year
After: buy 200 lb every month paying much more per pound because we don't get the price break anymore, but it makes it makes the graph look smoother
To really drive home why this drives me nuts, we also put our flux on the same system reducing our purchases from 55 gallon drums to 5 gallon containers.
It's only been a few months and we've already run into issues where we ran out of solder a month or so ago, and just ran out of flux in the past week.
9 years I've worked here and this is the first time we've had these issues.
