Recently finished these two #Battletech Level IIs using a scheme based on the OG Gundam.
I used them as an experiment because I heard that the best way to do a largely (or entirely) white paint scheme is to prime black and then dry brush layers of grey that get progressively lighter. I think I did 6 layers on the test group. The control group I just sprayed white. Both got a light grey wash in the end.
I like how the experiment turned out but not enough to justify the effort!

A friend of mine is in an incredibly difficult and scary place, dealing with an illness that they have had trouble getting diagnosis on. Hello! My name is Yuri and I use they/them pronouns! I'm from the Eastern European country of Estonia. I'm 25 years old, disabled, queer, nonbinary and autistic. I'm not very good at posting, but I do try! I try to be genuine, friendly, and approachable!
My main interests include art and design, from simple crafts to traditional painting to designing ttrpgs! I'm also big into folklore, especially from close to my home region (Uralic, Baltic, Slavic, Scandinavian, etc) and I often try to incorporate it into the art I create. I also occasionally dabble in writing and folk music!
ttrpgs
The main thing I do on the internet is create ttrpgs! I've been doing it for a couple of years now and I've really grown to love it. I mainly desing with my good friend August from the US, who doesn't have much of a social media presence, but merits the shoutout nonetheless!
There are several games I'm quite proud of, but chief among them is my biggest project - Glamour of Our Youth. Glamour is a Forged in the Dark game about supernatural teen dramas. With modular playbooks and striking differences between various series playbooks, Glamour is an extremely flexible game, allowing for extremely different stories from game to game. If you've ever wanted to play a game where Buffy meets Riverdale, this is for you! Currently in free playtesting!

I'm currently attending art school, so expect to see a good bit of traditional art posted here along the way! Currently we're mainly doing still lifes, but I'm also trying to keep up with personal projects and ideas along the way. I'm very excited to be on this journey and to share it with y'all!

My hobbies include calligraphy, stationary, bookbinding, baking, cooking, plants, folklore studies, photography, tea, coffee, folk music, geology, writing, poetry, cats, art history and more! I also often watch TV shows, both new and old. I enjoy CW shows as a guilty pleasure, such as Riverdale, Legacies, etc. Expect occasional posts on those topics and if you share any of these hobbies, feel free to reach out to chat about them!
