my admittedly pedantic argument that the archvile is lawful rests on the fact that it will resurrect monsters it has aggro'd on and killed by infighting.
oh really? is that scripted or is that like, incidental?
definitely not scripted, it just follows from basic behavior rules: resurrect any dead monster you come across, attack the player but also attack any monster that deals damage to you.
oh right, my bad, i think i mis-parsed the original argument, which the court will allow as evidence.
