Grimoire - G no Reconguista (2014)

Not an evil book! The Grimoire is basically Ippei's Gundam debut (alongside the Catsith), and what a debut suit it is. A wonderful, chunky little friend, with a very cool and unique head design. The giant round cockpit section is great, and the rifle having a weird beam whip in it is the start of G Reco getting weird with their MS equipment. I love the way it evokes having pockets with the skirt design as well.
The Grimoire is easily one of my favorite Gundam designs. It's so cool and unique when you or it against almost every other Gundam show's designs, but it's also just one of those designs that screams "grunt suit!" I love it to pieces. I am crushed by how little love Bandai seems to give this design in merchandise, as with most G-Reco designs. One day, maybe they'll make more model kits for it or something and it can get its proper due. Maybe if I win the lottery one day. Thank you for highlighting one of my favorite mobile suits. Good fucking robot, right here.
