Nutrients in dog food can be harmful to humans at their formulated concentrations and there are food contamination risks to human health that other animals generally do not have to worry about.
I imagine one could make a human-safe kibble if they desired.
For better context, there was a thread running around on cohost about eating kibble some time ago.
A thread that unfortunately upset the OP because she just wanted to sillypost about eating dogfood to make sure its not yucky for her pet
It is regrettable that OP was made uncomfortable, but it is pretty reasonable for people to join the public forum and speak a few words of warning. A handfull of kibble probly won't hurt you, and dogs don't even have a great sense of taste, anyways. There's no cause for alarm anywhere, as I see it.
I see, thank you!
One could probably roleplay by replacing dog food with meat stews, at least for the wet food.
I haven't done it in a while (and I do it on a private account) but when I do I always refer to it as cumhoosting
