Garnet recently started a new job and we'd been navigating how to share the space that we both need to work comfortably during my visit. While discussing what might happen if I tried to sneak in while her webcam was on during a meeting, this idea came to mind.
She absolutely adored it when I showed it to her, and frankly, I love it too.

Garnet commissioned a piece for herself and one of her other partners, with the sole prompt effectively being "something related to the moon" as a connection that bridges the physical distance between themselves.
Garnet's partner also needed a fursona of her own, so it was up to me to design that for her. Fortunately she decided that she'd be a rabbit, which is obviously well within my wheelhouse. Playing with the colours and shading to imply that they're under the moonlight was a fun part of the project, and although I don't feel super confident in my shading, I quite like how it turned out.
As a finishing touch, Garnet and I have a shared interest in poetry, so I figured I'd write a little stanza to add to the piece.

I wanted to make something for my two sweethearts, Arwyn and Garnet, this Valentine's day. When Arwyn popped into a quiet Discord hangout I set up to work on some commissions over the weekend, I figured that having her in the audience was the perfect time to get them done.
