My fridge no longer keeps things cool properly, so I'm gonna empty it out and turn it off. The landlord, it turns out, will not be replacing it and is unfortunately within his rights to do so. He's also within his rights to raise my rent outside what the job center will support, as he's kindly reminded me, so I'm pretty much forced to let the issue rest.
So now I'm collecting for a new fridge! If you have anything to spare, I'd be very grateful. I've done some research, and €300 gets me a decent model both in size and quality it looks like.
