SIREN'S SONG.

Hearing the song of a siren is like having a spell cast on you. They say few have seen one and lived to tell the tale, but as the travelers who go missing are never found, it's unclear whether these cryptids are actually dangerous or if they live peacefully in an undiscovered realm.

Thanks! It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to accomplish a simple layout that would look similar to a book page without relying on external fonts. I ended up using a border to emulate an initial capital and transform to distinguish the title from the body text. The background is a gradient with colors straight from the art's palette (I used Windows 10 PowerToys to color pick from it without having to open an art program).

I'd love to see more people playing with formatting! Feel free to check out the HTML/CSS I used with browser dev tools (Chrome: ctrl+shift+d to inspect an element you click on) and mess with it yourself! :)
