Yes! Exactly this hehehe. Like here, even where the hunter is so vulnerable there's an intentionality to letting herself that's gorgeous. That, and I think my imagination of the club, almost make me feel the vampire's threats are a little hollow, even as it makes her that hehe. Little song and dance at play, like ancient roles that feel so worn out now.
Going a bit off the deep end tho lol
oh, the distant sadness of her first little girlfriend and god what a brilliant upsetting bit of tragedy that's not spoken as to how it fuels her but invariably must, the sense of world building that builds this nice picture while still being very efficient. a club that's clearly setup for a very dubious affair lol, it's close to roofying in a way. though then i imagine any deaths would put them at inordinate risk and both internal and external scrutiny. which gets me imagining this like two-sided protectiveness towards human clientele while still very much seeing them as food. though im sure a few have died 
the hunter curse is an idea ive never seen so that's really neat too. and finally, lore for how there keeps being so many lesbian vampires hehe.
