so being up to speed on Donbrothers and halfway through Faiz I simply adore how Inoue handles limited casts of characters through putting them in different places at different times to limit their knowledge of each other. Like yeah of course dramatic irony is a literary device and all but it helps to flesh the characters out so much when you don't have one storyline where the prospective "bad guy" is shown to be a complex and multi-faceted person, you get a whole ass relationship to show it

also fuck me Kaixa is such an asshole, probably biggest love-to-hate-the-guy in my Rider history so far, man just cannot stop showing off his red flag collection
