Heya! I'm Behemoth, and I'm a big ol' nerd. Professionally, I recently became a web developer, but I used to work at the Pike Place Market. FFXIV, JoJo, One Piece, Gundam, etc.

Ah, another quiet day at the office.

My boss is out at a client, and all I have to work on is like... putting together a quote for this project. It's kind of annoying not having anything to work on, makes me feel vaguely guilty. But hey, that's my boss' problem, not mine, I'm gettin' paid the same either way.

Recent events have gotten me thinking about social media, and the way I interact with it, which is primarily as a passive observer and commenter. I'm not a pithy writer, my thoughts come out in paragraphs. That's why I like writing either big long posts on wordpress, or here!

On twitter, anything original I posted was just mundane photos or life events. Basically treating it the same way as a chat thread in a forum, popping in with one little thing and then going on about my day. Otherwise, just retweeting things I found funny or interesting. Tumblr is the same way, but with less personal content and more talking/reacting in the tags.

It all goes back to my lurker roots. I mostly just want to sit back and enjoy the show, y'know? Absorb things, and speak up only when I really have something to contribute, even if that something is just a dumb joke.
