Took the bus into work this morning, since the person I usually get a ride with is out (just taking a day off for doctor's appointments, nothing serious). I do miss commuting by bus, it always makes me feel so... normal. The inherent camaraderie of waiting at a bus stop, the basic decency of interacting extremely briefly with a bus driver, etc.
Ugh, forgot to cut my finger nails this morning, they're getting long enough to make typing a little annoying. Not making an audible clack, but still. But, I know there are people out there doing office jobs with much longer nails than mine. I can deal with it for another day.
Every day at work I plug my laptop into the dock and open it up, then it just sits there on the Lenovo logo until I hold down the power button to shut it off and start up again. Then it boots fine. It's done this intermittently in the past, but it's been very consistent for the past week or so. Always makes me feel vaguely guilty....
