Heya! I'm Behemoth, and I'm a big ol' nerd. Professionally, I recently became a web developer, but I used to work at the Pike Place Market. FFXIV, JoJo, One Piece, Gundam, etc.

Y'know, after posting about that 8bitdo keyboard, I realized I never posted about my good ol' daily driver: the Varmilo VPM108 Chang'e Keyboard with moxa switches.

This thing is gorgeous, I love how the art bleeds over onto the keys, making a cohesive whole. Varmilo has a bunch of cool designs that use different sets of chinese characters, I have another one that uses seal script, I think these are just more traditional, and less commonly-used ones.

Oh, and another neat feature is the phases of the moon on the function keys, which only appear when you turn the backlight on.

But the main reason I picked this design is that it's the only 100% keyboard you can get that has moxa switches. These were produced by Varmilo in collaboration with Shurikey, so they don't offer them for their other models. They're like... super buttery smooth, but don't require a ton of force to operate. I can't really describe it, but they're just perfect.

Early this year, I was buying a new keyboard practically every month, trying out different things, but I finally landed on this one and I've been totally happy with it for the past six months.
