Super Mario RPG is really something special to me. It was the first RPG I really understood, and finished all the way to the end. I played that game so much as a kid, this nostalgia bait hit me square in the heart (no pun intended). I never thought it would happen, both Nintendo and Square seemed to want to bury its existence completely.
The graphics looked incredible, really capturing that 90s pre-rendered look, and the music was also great, apparently they got the original composer to work on it. The one thing that gives me pause is the UI, which has been boring-ified as modern RPG UIs often are, but that's not a dealbreaker.
I'm really going to get to see High Definition Booster... what a time to be alive....
