I would argue that those are more like compound nouns that people often shorten to simply "pilot", as in "have you seen the pilot for Blorbos Beyond?"
Also, this seems like exactly the kind of thing that teixcalaani poets would argue about.
oh right right. I would imagine naming after people is even more unusual than naming after animals.
