its wild to me how the early ps3/x360 models were like "THESE WILL NOT SURVIVE MORE THAN 4 YEARS TILL STUFF INSIDE THE CONSOLE STARTS MELTING"

Early functional PS3 models are a rarity now and we just seemingly accepted that??

how the fuck did they get away with this

even the non-ps2 early compatible models have a surprising reputation of failure, at least it's not like. 60%-75% like pre-HDMI xboxes (even early HDMI xboxes have high laser failure ratrs), but it's still high for what is a normal PS3 that can accept compact flash cards and nothing much else the other ones can't do
