I finally switched all my shit over from Chrome to Firefox! Whee!!! The one snag I've hit is that Discord in-browser (which I prefer to the desktop app because I don't like having to switch windows) for some reason doesn't display server or user icons. Disabling my various privacy/ad-blocking extensions didn't seem to do anything, nor did Ctrl-R refreshing a bunch. Is this a known thing, and are there any fixes? It's not a dealbreaker (I can suck it up and use the Discord desktop app) but it'd be nice if the switch could be as seamless as possible in accommodating the way I like to use the internet.
EDIT: Looks like this is happening with YouTube thumbnails too! Not great!
EDIT 2, SOLVED: So it turns out that at SOME point in the past I'd gone into about:config and disabled saving as webp with the following changes:
image.webp.enabled was set to false (default true) image.http.accept was set to "/" where the default was "image/webp,/"
Restoring those to default fixed both Discord and YouTube! Whoopsie!!!!!
out here ruining days because people don't use webp.
