Adult Analysis Anthology 1 Submissions Are NO LONGER LIVE

SUBMISSIONS HAVE BEEN CLOSED! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUBMITTED!

As I've been posting and reposting about for the past several days: I'm putting together & editing an anthology of critical writing about porn games and porn game culture which I'm tentatively titling the Adult Analysis Anthology (better name suggestions welcomed). Here's the details:

10-12 submissions will be selected
Wordcount of 1,000-1,500
Completed submissions will be paid $50 USD (paid via Paypal)
Wide array of subject matter accepted: reviews, critical analysis, personal experiences, observations of wider trends - just make sure it has porn games at its core

Once complete, the anthology will be available as a PDF on Itch, but all the essays will be posted one at a time on a new Cohost account.

EDIT Oh and feel free to submit a pitch even if you haven't commented about being interested previously! Everyone's welcome!

EDIT 2 I'll be leaving submissions open over the weekend so stragglers can get their pitches in and e-mailing people whose submissions get chosen sometime next week!

A friend directed me here, though I had to sit through the waiting period.

I'm Pyksies, I'm an adult text game maker as a hobby, but by the end of this month I intend on having my first big release on the framework I've spent a few years refining (a game called MERCANOID). I've learned a lot, made mistakes, will make many more! But I think I've got a decent amount to talk about with regard to my personal takes on adult games, both as a player and a creator.

Could I ask what the cut-off date for submissions here is? The link is now closed, so did I miss out whilst stuck behind the waiting period wall of this site? Ho-hum.

Ah yeah, sorry - I'm LITERALLY just about to send out the last of the e-mails to the people whose submissions were accepted before making an announcement about submissions being closed. I'm hoping to do more of these in the future though, and it'd definitely be good to get more writing from people who've been through the adult game dev experience (which, as I know too well, is absolutely its own unique beast)
