That Stan Rogers song is an absolute banger, but not a sea shanty! A shanty is a work song, specifically one that can be used to coordinate physical efforts like lifting anchor or hoisting a sail.
With "The Last of Barrett's Privateers," it's not clear what musical cue (if any) you would hoist a sail on. The Spongebob Squarepants theme, on the other hand--definitely a sea shanty.
(I don't expect you to remove the "sea shanties" hashtag or anything, just thought it was interesting and wanted to share)
