i think more romance games need to let you the player be in a position of teasing. a lot of games feel like all the eligibles are "high status" compared to you - and listen, i'm nothing if not low status - but sometimes i want some options with someone overly serious and kind of pathetic that you can just tease a lot. i think that would be enriching.

It feels a little disingenuous to reccomend Fate/Extra CCC as a 'romance' game primarily, especially as its a sequel to a game that definitley isn't one.
That said, it is a game entirely about exposing peoples secrets and then bullying them for them, so I do feel like it's at least worth mentioning it.

Imagining a dating sim where everyone starts off obsessed with you and you tease them over the course of the game. You need to correctly deduce which teasing they will or won't like so that you can reduce the affection of everyone except whoever you want to end up with.
