Randomly saw this game suggested on steam, the little thumbnails for combat looked really dynamic and when I checked it out more I was genuinely surprised with the fun mix up of the classic dragon quest style jrpg mechanics on screen. Like this but not just to explicitly rip off clothes (hell this but not generic cishet hentai!) would be a cool way to show that

Actually really genius to set up RPG battles that way if you want to show off your character and their gear looking cool in any way that's not from behind/camera over shoulder.
Reminds me of a surprisingly common complaint I hear from friends and friends-of-friends who spend a lot of time playing RPGs (esp. Bethesda); if there's a first person view they rarely if ever leave it because they don't want to "stare at their character's back/ass", and they rarely feel like getting out of their way to deliberately, well, rotate it and look at themselves unless it's to take a screencap.
but also I lol'd extremely hard at the Steam ad for it advertising "FULLY PLAYABLE WITH ONE HAND". THIS USED TO BE A JOKE! NOW IT'S A SELLING POINT LMAOOO

I think it would really well for horror too, very resident evil way of being able to show the health of your character
