i genuinely stopped playing it because i realized it felt too much like gambling. like it's not like I was gambling, I'm spending no money, but I realized it was the same sort of hollow satisfaction of chasing the next roll. didn't feel great! not a bad game though I guess. I certainly played a lot of it
its incredible I played like 10 hours of it in the early access build, went "well that sucked at least it was only 3 dollars" then did that AGAIN with this 1.0 version
I played it for the first time recently for maybe 7 hours. It does some clever stuff, but the clever stuff is mostly clever in that you get sucked into playing more. It’s a game bold enough to rub in your face exactly how susceptible you are to a bell ringing to indicate a dinner that never arrives.
