Named Firefrogs for the way their bellies glow after the sun sets, these curious critters use their croaks to float around and communicate with any potential mates during warm summer nights, having found the one for them when both their songs harmonize together. They've often been confused for Will 'o Wisps or fae for their knack of wandering out into dark spaces where their croaks are more likely to travel farther.
They can usually be seen with fireflies as the glow tends to attract a decent number of them, which can lead to greater opportunities for get-togethers and rather magical looking scenes when the weather is just right.
This Soul in particular is a bit of a hopeless romantic and is hoping to one night resonate with the perfect Firefrog who will accept his song for who he is.
