NOTE:

Over the next.. I have no idea how long, I'm going to be posting a ton of my old art here. I'm not sure how much I'm going to cherry-pick or combine, but there's a good chance it's going to be in the 300-400 post range.
If you follow me before I finish, I'm going to obliterate your dashboard.
Also my apologies to any of the tags I frequently use, lol.

About Me

Last updated: 2024-02-26

Heya, I'm Blue! I'm in my upper 20s, and I'm a lifelong artist who's also been 3D modeling since 2017. I've been struggling with the whole "making art" part lately, but I'm doing my best.

Read More I'm aro/ace and nonbinary and mostly go by they/them pronouns. He/him is also fine, and I prefer people use masculine-leaning terms for me. "Guy" I resonate a whole lot with. I'm just some guy. :]

I'm also neurodivergent. Not going to list my whole diagnoses, but autism and ADHD are the big ones.

⚠️ Below is a list of things I will not tolerate, and will be likely to block/report as necessary if I see you follow me
Read More If you're anti-queer in any way, a TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist), racist, sexist, ableist, or similarly bigoted. Right-wing and conservative politics usually fall into these categories automatically.

If you condone and/or glorify harmful pa/raphilia like ra/pe, pe/dophilia, in/cest, or bes/tiality, you will be blocked, and I will report you if you break cohost's Terms of Use.

Original Description:

My art style bend attempt! For those who don’t know, the rules of art style bend are you ask friends or followers what the most distinctive traits of your art are, and then you have to draw something using none of those traits.

My banned traits were thick line art, cell shading, and forms / character designs that look grounded in a 3D space. So what better way to force me into 2D than to design a character I literally can’t make 3D reference for!
I’ve been calling her Quail because of her helmet plume, and she’s a deity of both astronomical and physical space.

I’m beyond happy with how this came out! Especially considering I went into this with no mental image of what I wanted her design to look like or how I’d handle layers and effects and all that.
