It’s been- I’m not even kidding- 21 months since I’ve drawn a clear full-body reference of Elliott.
I was trying to draw a bigger, better drawing of him, but I was struggling because my references and his design were so outdated. So I drew this first to get design tweaks down on paper before I tried applying them to a more complicated pose.
Modern-day Blue speaking: Oogh, the gaps between drawing my OCs gets so much worse in the future. I'm sorry, my son.
Also fun fact; Elliott was my first ever transgender character before I realized I was trans and made the majority of my OCs some flavor of trans as well.

Well, my eternal waffling on Elliott’s design continues. Every time I draw him I change his feet, haha. His ‘hands’ change a lot too.
Elliott’s back to having two human-like fingers. He still has trouble with dexterity, but it’s worlds better than just having thumbs.
I don’t like how thin his bat-like digits are though, so next time I draw him they’ll be different.
His feet. Oh boy, his feet. Bird of prey-esque feet are apparently very difficult for me to draw. It took me a long time to find a style that I was comfortable drawing them in, but here we are.
Add “eagle” to the ever-growing list of animals I’ve hijacked traits from to go into Elliott’s design. Canonically, his species are basically chimeras, so yeah…
I changed his nose because his koala-nose-shaped spot would frequently give me issues. There were just too many times I drew it and it looked weird.
That’s about it. I still friggin love Elliott and his design, I just really don’t like drawing him, ahaha. I need to practice.
