Human Squid is just another alternate universe character of mine that I’m sorely tempted to make canon just because I like their design.
Although technically Squid here doesn’t have to be human, and the AU is just that their shape shifting is less restricted… Possibilities.
Regardless, I love Squid to death, and also dreadlocks are very fun to draw. Not quite so fun to vector though. Their head was an angry beehive of anchor points.
Speaking of, I’m getting much better with Clip Studio’s vector. The line art for this is like 98% vector.
If I may brag for a rare moment, I’m impressed with how quickly I went from, “Wait, CSP has VECTOR??” to utilizing it very well. The time span was about two months, but there was a gap in there that I didn’t really try that hard, I just used it for background stuff. It’s so useful to be able to tweak things on the fly without quality loss.
