I’ve been trying to redesign this bastard to yank him out of the Minecraft fandom since 2014, and I only just now got traction with it.
His name is Farekhyr Aezir. However, since that name is an absolute disaster for most people to pronounce, he just wants to be called Wick. Khyr also works, which is pronounced like “kheer.”

I’m just going to start spouting random tidbits about Wick’s personally, his species & their biology, and misc facts, because I can’t think of any way to string them all together in a way that makes sense…
About Wick
- He’s 21 years old and bisexual.
- He’s very extroverted, charismatic, and loves being the center of attention and getting a reaction out of people, for better or worse.
- He’s overly vain and prideful, self-centered, and hasn’t grown out of causing trouble for attention.
- He loves pyrotechnics and makes his own fireworks. He’s blown himself up a few times but his kind have thick skin and fire resistance, so it’s cool.
- He’s very physically fit and agile. He does a lot of parkour for fun and to show off. He’s also a talented dancer.
- He’s absurdly flexible. Noodle dragon.
- All of the white markings on his face are paint. His kind don’t have eyebrows.
- He naturally has two hair colors like that.
- His name was originally even more of a disaster but I couldn’t even pronounce it mentally so I toned it down, lmao.
About His Species
(Which I don’t have a name for yet, so I’m just calling them dragons)
- They’re resistant to diseases because their core temperatures are very high on average (~195°F / ~90°C).
- They don’t require much water to stay hydrated. They’re kinda like cats in that most of their water comes from food.
- They can drink contaminated water and eat raw food because their heat kills most if not all bacteria and parasites. Wick prefers the taste of raw meat.
- They need to eat a lot to stay hot and healthy.
- They’re very vulnerable to cold, although they’re more resistant if they’re in good health and well fed. They need to be especially careful with bathing in or drinking cool water, because that cools them off quickly. They also need to stay dry because water evaporating on their skin cools them off too.
- They can generate fire from any of the “vents” on their body, but Wick uses the ones on his shoulders and hands the most. They can also breathe fire because dragons.
- Most of their glow is actually from bioluminescence, not from heat. Their core temperature is well below the draper point, and the only internal fire they have is in their lungs.
- Their blood is a rusty orange color and also glows because of bioluminescence.
- They smoke incense more commonly than cigarettes. Neither have any negative health impact on them since, well, they’re constantly breathing in their own smoke, but they generally prefer incense because it smells and tastes nicer.
- All their clothes are fire retardant for obvious reasons. Their skin-tight clothes like Wick’s shirt breath really well so that fire can pass through them. They’re also very stretchy.
- Females have horns too, but they’re much smaller.
- Their tails are really strong. You do not want to be slapped by one of their tails.
- They can inhale copper chloride to turn their flames blue, but it’s generally not great for their health.
