Making human sprites of all my nonhuman characters for Death Road to Canada made me want to draw some, but these two especially. Partly because I really liked how Elliott’s clothes and Sylvia’s hair looked, and partly because both of them are kinda obnoxious to draw in their respective canon species, aaaaa.
A random thing I realized while drawing this and thinking about the similarities between these two is that any character of mine 158cm / 5′1″ (Elliott’s height) or under is a cunning, conniving, petty little shit. Don’t let Sylvia’s sweet face and demeanor fool you. In fact, their inclination towards petty revenge grows the shorter they get, with the exception of Squid, who’s the pettiest of them all.
