On Japanese Twitter, the tag #ポケモン5分モデリング (#5 Minute Pokemon Renders) is trending, and it’s basically just roasting this guy who made this tweet saying,
Gamefreak’s incompetence is disappointing. You can make a graphic of a Pokemon in about 5 minutes, right? 5 minutes x 800 Pokemon is just around 60 hours, which is totally doable. I can’t help but call a company that couldn’t do this, incompetent. If that’s true, people who are getting paid wages but can’t do this are basically working for free! Pokemon’s finished.

I was expecting the results to be a dumpster fire, but it came out… strangely adorable? I ran out of time for the leaves, though…
I doubled the time limit to 10 minutes, but have mercy, I’m a naturally slow 3D modeler/artist. :’) It’s still short enough to feel like a serious rush job, though.
