@doodledrawsthings has asked for people to make more Nuclear Throne character fusions, and I am here to answer that call.

This is a fusion of Rebel and Horror. I call them Rabble for… reasons, I guess. It kinda sounds like ‘rebel’ and they’re basically a being of pure chaos, so it fits.

Can you imagine mixing Rebel’s and Horror’s voices though? Rabble probably screeches like a horrible banshee. Also they probably summon dog guardian allies and that’s terrifying.

Original Description Shaking off the Depression Art Block™ with some pixel art! Last time I did serious pixel art was… late 2015, apparently.

I really ought to make pixel art more. I enjoy it, and I think it looks nice. (Honestly I prefer how my shading looks in pixel art compared to my normal art…)
Fun fact: My introduction to digital art was actually making sprite edits, back before I even had a deviantART account. AKA pre-2006. So pixel art/sprites will always have a special place in my heart.

Original Description More pixel art! This time of Rebel from Nuclear Throne. I really wish I could play as her, but I haven’t unlocked her yet. I’ve gotten close. :(

I used Dan Fessler’s HD Index Painting technique for the shading. I cannot understate how good automatic dithering feels. I’m still getting used to how to apply it to my usual brand of pixel art, but it’s a good first step!
