Happy almost exactly a month late Birthday to @neoyi! Hopefully the extra dimension was worth the wait.
This is Prince Marine from her webcomic @thedandyrobot
Hopefully his arms just… ending doesn’t look too strange. I just wanted to do a bust, but it turned into a waist-up, and I just really didn’t want to model his gauntlets and hands… :’) I was going to fade opacity so it wouldn’t look so abrupt, but transparent textures are such a colossal pain and I ran out of steam to try and work through it.
I think Marine wins for my favorite turnaround so far purely for the streamer on his hat. Woooosh! If I had all the time in the world I’d animate the streamer and cape to look like they were being spun outwards by the rotation of the turntable, but… [looks at 55 cape bones] nope nope nope…
